65. Halloween Hauntings

Halloween and Day of the Dead are by my far my favorite celebrations.

Something about spirits walking the earth and ghosts and ghouls just gets me excited.

This year I did a bunch of do it yourself projects, including headstones of large Styrofoam packing pieces, glass orbs glued to corks and placed in an old candle holder and magic potions made with old bottles, aged labels and glitter potion inside.

Our entire graveyard this year will be full of Serial Killers including, Freddy, Dexter, The Zodiac and Jack the Ripper!

I wish I had more time, I would make stuff for Halloween all day long. I even got things to make Frankenstein, gravestone, and butcher knife cookies.

43. Halloween

Halloween is my favorite time of year! Being an October baby, I have always loved the spooky stories, haunted houses, and fall storms.

These pictures are from my birthday bash last year where we visited one of the big haunted houses here in Portland. We got to take some pictures at the end and they reminded me how much I am looking forward to decorating our house this year.
